Youth for Human Rights

Youth for Human Rights is a campaign centered on promoting unity, understanding, and equality among people of all backgrounds. The project focuses on empowering young individuals to recognize diversity as a strength and to advocate for inclusion and respect. The design highlights the idea that humanity is made of many unique “pieces,” each essential to the bigger picture.

Early Stage

The early design stage explored a variety of logo and color variations based on a skin-tone palette, symbolizing diversity and equality. I experimented with type layouts and puzzle-piece arrangements to find a balance between visual harmony and conceptual depth. The puzzle motif represents humanity as an interconnected system, where every individual contributes to the whole. These explorations led to a design that feels both inclusive and intentionally human.

Final Design

The final logo unites all the earlier concepts into a cohesive identity. The profile silhouette made of puzzle pieces conveys the idea of connection, empathy, and understanding across all differences. The warm color palette of varied skin tones reinforces diversity, while the soft rounded typography communicates accessibility and compassion.

For application, the logo was extended into T-shirts, tote bags, and wristbands—tools for spreading awareness and encouraging conversation about human rights in everyday life.
